The dermatologists found no relevant skin reactions in the 20 who completed the study, and Dermatest rated the tolerability as “excellent”. A 21st participant developed redness and itching after 10 days and stopped. It cleared within three days. The cream contains retinol complex, so build up gradually if you have sensitive skin.

A slight tingle or tight feeling at first is common. If your skin gets irritated, take a break for a few evenings.

Questions and answers
Can sensitive skin tolerate this cream?
Dermatest rated the tolerability as “excellent”. One of 21 participants developed redness and itching after 10 days and stopped, and it cleared within three days. If you have sensitive skin, start with 3–4 evenings a week and test it on a small area first.
How often should I use it?
Start with 3–4 evenings a week, and increase to every evening when your skin tolerates it. In the study it was used once daily for four weeks.
Can I use it with acids or vitamin C?
Use vitamin C in the morning. With acids, you can alternate evenings at first. In the routine study it was used in the evening together with Daily Exfoliation Lotion 10 % AHA and Multi-Vitamin Face Oil.
Why do I need sunscreen?
Retinol makes the skin more sensitive to sun. Use a high-factor sunscreen during the day while using the cream.
Can I use it on my neck and décolletage?
On the neck, yes. For the décolletage we recommend Firming Décolleté Cream, which is made and tested for exactly that area.
How long does the bottle last?
30 ml gives approx. 100 pumps. One pump is enough for face and neck.
